CoCo-Pi "first boot" setup instructions [section 1 - downloading and copying CoCo-Pi image to SD card] Download CoCo-Pi compressed (zipped) SD card image file. Unzip file when download is complete. Verify MD5 checksum matches the *.img file. If not, you will need to re-download the zip file and verify again until the MD5 checksum matches the *.img file. Modern versions of Windows come with 'Certutil'. Linux has 'md5sum'. Copy SD card image to SD card of at least 16GB (32GB or higher strongly recommended). You can use balenaEtcher for Windows and Linux or 'dd' for Linux. [section 2 - resizing the SD card file system] Once the CoCo-Pi has booted to a Desktop, click on the Terminal icon in the task bar in the upper left corner of the screen. Type 'menu' in the Terminal window. Select "Utilities Menu". Select "CoCo-Pi Administration Menu". Select "Run Raspi-Config Script". Select "Advanced Options" within the Raspi-Config Utility Menu. Select "A1 Expand File System". Reboot CoCo-Pi. [section 3 - setting up WiFi to allow for Internet access] (if using WiFi, otherwise you can skip this section) Once the CoCo-Pi has booted to a Desktop, click on the Terminal icon in the task bar in the upper left corner of the screen. Type 'menu' in the Terminal window. Select "Utilities Menu". Select "CoCo-Pi Administration Menu". Select "Edit WiFi Configuration" Edit the SSID and PASSWORD sections. CTRL-X will save and exit. Select "Reboot Raspberry Pi" on same Utility Menu. You can also configure your WiFi connection using the WiFi icon in task bar in the upper right corner of the screen. [section 4 - download and apply most recent CoCo-Pi updates] Once the CoCo-Pi has booted to a Desktop, click on the Terminal icon in the task bar in the upper left corner of the screen. Type 'menu' in the Terminal window. Select "Utilities Menu". Select "CoCo-Pi Administration Menu". Select "Update CoCo-Pi from git Repo". Let the update complete. Select "Run CoCo-Pi fix script" from same menu. Select "Reboot Reboot Raspberry Pi" on same Utility Menu. [section 5 - download ROMs] Once the CoCo-Pi has booted to a Desktop, click on the Terminal icon in the task bar in the upper left corner of the screen. Type 'menu' in the Terminal window. Select "Utilities Menu". Select "CoCo-Pi Downloads Menu". Select "Download ROM images to /media/share1/roms". This is all that is required to launch the emulators (although some menu options may not work without downloading additional software).
