Q: I found a steel door, but it's rusted shut and it won't open

You're going to need to oil the hinges. Now do you know why there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the east pit in the "Twopit Room"?

Go to the pool of oil there and fill bottle. (You did remember to bring the bottle, didn't you?) Then climb the beanstalk again and oil door. Then open door and you are on your way.
